This real F-15 Eagle that this model is based on is a twin-engine, all-weather tactical fighter designed to gain and maintain air superiority in aerial combat. It was developed for the United States Air Force, and first flew in July 1972. It is one of the most recognized fighters of the modern day. The F-15E Strike Eagle derivative is an all-weather strike fighter that entered service in 1989. The U.S. Air Force plans to keep the F-15 in service until 2025. The paint scheme used is of the F-15 Aggressors from the 65th Aggressor Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base. This is an excellent scale model aimed at intermediate to advanced fliers. It is a highly manoeuvrable model that can easily perform inverted flight, loops and rolls etc. It comes pre-painted with everything you need included apart from the normal AA batteries for the transmitter.
