12/24/32/36/48 volt programmable solar regulator, maximum charge current 20 Amps, features 3-stage control of battery charging and a 3-digit LCD display that reads battery voltage, solar charge current, load current, daily AH collected, and daily AH consumed. Regulates to a bulk charge voltage, holds at constant absorption voltage and then drops to a float voltage. Loads can be connected through the regulator, and are disconnected if the battery is discharged. Maximum load current is 20 Amps. A menu-driven system is activated with a single push switch. A short push scrolls through the display readings. Holding the switch gives access to the programming and memory functions. Data recorded includes daily charge AH, daily load AH, maximum and minimum daily battery voltages and temperature (requires external sensor). The last 30 days of information is retained. Programmable settings include the regulator clock, nominal system voltage, battery type and its capacity. These values automatically adjust the regulation voltages. Further options include a load timer (e.g. for night lights), PWM regulator control, shunt regulation and link for PC. Mount regulator in a dry, ventilated space near the battery, keeping clear of heat sources such as a generator, and fit a 30 amp in-line battery fuse. Battery standby current 10 mAmp.
