Organic rosemary
The latin name means ‘dew of the sea and is based on its growth close to the sea and the appearance of the blue blossoms from a distance. Commonly known for its culinary uses to flavour, and in ancient times to preserve meat, rosemary was also one of the earliest plants to have been used in magic, therapeutics and religion, being regarded as sacred in many civilizations. Sprigs of rosemary were burnt at shrines in ancient greece, the ancient romans wore rosemary sprigs behind the ear to aid concentration and memory. Fumigations were used in the middle ages to drive away evil spirits and to purify and protect during the plague. 10Ml bottle.
