As a revitalising oil, Myrrh is used in incense and perfumes. Myrrh is valued today for its antiseptic and drying qualities. It can be used as an astringent and anti-wrinkle agent in creams and carrier oils.

Myrrh oil is collected from the red gum that oozes from cracks and fissures in the bark of this bush / small tree. The gum is steam-distilled producing a rich, amber coloured oil.
