Each tablet contains: glutamine, pyridoxine hydrochloride, zinc (as amino acid chelate), magnesium (as amino acid chelate), chromium (as chromic chloride) 500mg, 4mg, 2mg, 20mg, 32.8Mg , may be suitable for : temporary relief of insomnia and to help relieve nervous tension, stress, mild anxiety, poor concentration and irritability and leaky gut syndrome. The active ingredients in orthoplex glutamine complex 500, when appropriately prescribed, may assist patients suffering from the following conditions. L-glutamine is the principal energy source for the small intestine. It is an important nutrient for rapidly dividing cells such as cells from the immune system and the gut. In a situation where the glutamine is compromised for example in surgery, bone marrow transplant, gut irritation and crohns disease, there is a functional disturbance in the immune system and/or the gut resulting in poor immunity, increased risk of infection and food intolerances. The gut functions to prevent migration of bacteria to the systemic circulation and a lack of glutamine may cause leaky gut syndrome and gut infections.
