Fabulous tuareg headdress.
Rare antique tuareg headdress sourced in erfoud. The original worn leather staps are encrusted with an array of superb antique beads, including murano, dogon, bohemian glass a chevron, coral, padres and bohemian glass. There are a couple of gaps too! Each temple is adorned with a large square shell amuletand a fringe of coloured leather. The fringe is a later addition to the piece. Length 74cm in total. Shells 4.5 Cm sq.
