Our Energy Saving Table lamps use unique 4-pin compact fluorescent bulbs (CFL) that are equivalent to an ordinary 60w bulb. These CFL bulbs use only 1/5 of electricity compared to an incandescent bulb of similar strength, giving you typical electricity savings of 5-6 per year. The CFL lasts 10 times as long as a normal bulb so it will be about five years until you have to replace it! This light reduces glare and is designed for glass framed pictures and prints: it generates much less reflection off the glass than a traditional candle bulb. In addition, it provides better protection for your works of art as very little heat is emitted whilst in use. Angle the hood to suit your picture. Dimensions: width 350mm (14in); projection 225mm (10in). Made of: quality brass. All our table lamps come with 2 metres of cable, fitted with an inline switch and fused plug. The products take a low energy compact fluorescent bulb (CFL) which emits limited heat, even in continuous use, thus enabling the safe use of the colour filter sleeves. All bulbs last up to 5 years.
