One or two capsules after each meal or as required. Acidophilus bifodos probiotic is used for a healthy digestive system, immune support, yeast infections, travellers (experiencing different food and water), food poisoning and anyone taking antibiotics. Acidophilus and bifidobacterium are beneficial,health supporting bacteria found in the digestive tract. Adequate quantities of these are needed to keep a health balance of the gut flora and this probiotic supplement may play a role in maintaining good digestion. Acidophilus inhibits the growth of disease-causing bacteria such as e coli, salmonella and streptococcus fructoligosaccharides (fos), naturally occurring carbohydrates, support the growth of bifidobacterium.
