Wool and Leather Half belt. We have not made these jackets for many years but we have just found a roll of very nice green melton wool in our store which looks fabulous with our antique brown Steer hide and green quilted Rayon lining. (As you can see from the picture on the left, this jacket also looks great in Black!) We are therefor able to offer a short run of these typical 1950s wool and leather jackets. (Any one recall the news vendor in Police Squad?) The back has a yolk and leather Half belt waistband with leather straps at the side.

The jacket has leather piped pockets, leather cuffs and a leather front and collar. The styling is exactly the same as our half belt. This makes a good 3 season jacket. We can also offer this with a lighter weight cotton drill lining so that the jacket could be worn right through the summer.
