Unreserved and Open Auctioneer
We started in Gloucester Street, Brighton some 30 years ago. In more recent years we found that parking in Brighton was becoming increasingly difficult and we felt we had outgrown the premises in Brighton. So, approx 3 years ago, we relocated to our current site in Shoreham-By-Sea. We are the bonded agents to The Official Receivers Office in Brighton and deal with all the disposal of bankrupt stock for the Sussex area. We also dispose of distressed goods seized in lieu of debt on behalf of The Brighton and Hove Council Recovery Department, The Sheriffs of East and West Sussex, Inland Revenue, Brighton County Court, Company Liquidators, etc.
Our regular auctions are held monthly, usually on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, for details of our next auction click on the catalogue page. Viewings for these regular auctions are held at the auction rooms on auction day between 9.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m. The auction itself starts at 10.00 a.m. sharp. We occasionally hold on-site auctions or have items available for tender or private treaty sale, see Special Sales page for further details.
Our auctions are open to the general public and bid prices start at £1.00 so there are always bargains to be had! The type of items sold through our auction varies enormously and can include vehicles of all types, catering equipment, shop fittings, office furniture, contents of restaurants and pubs, foodstuffs, clothing, giftware, etc, etc, etc! In the last year we have auctioned items as diverse as musical instruments, baby equipment, complete computer systems, fine porcelain and motor accessories. There certainly is something for everyone
