Tools DIY and Machinery Auctioneer
We are one of the UK’s foremost livestock marketing companies, being the leading commercial and pedigree auctioneers in the country. Operating from headquarters at Border way, Carlisle and seven other sales centers, chiefly in the north of England and south west Scotland the auctions of pedigree and commercial livestock are recognized as being some of the most important in the country, and certainly among the busiest.
In a typical busy day of pedigree and commercial sales 2000/3000 thousand cattle move through the our site, and sheep sales can regularly see 10,000 animals sold. The country’s leading suckled calf sales are also held in the spring and autumn. Our recognition in the industry is such that they are the auctioneers for largest percentage of breed societies in Britain.
Sales are run at Carlisle most days of the week, and regularly at centres in Broughton in Furness, Kirkby Stephen, Lazonby, Lockerbie, Middleton in Teesdale, St John’s Chapel and in the south west of England, whilst our centre at Newcastleton hosts seasonal sales.
