Televisions and Audio/Video Auctioneer

The auctioneer’s decision on any matter relating to the conduct of the auction shall be final. The person making the highest accepted bid for each lot at the fall of the hammer is deemed to be the buyer. In the case of dispute, the auctioneer may either dictate the result or re-offer the disputed lot at the same or a subsequent auction. The auctioneer shall regulate the bidding and reserves the right to bid or refuse any bidding on behalf of the vendors of any lots comprised in the sale. All lots are put up for sale subject to any reserve price placed by the vendors who may bid for any lots and may withdraw any lots either personally or through the auctioneer.
No person may bid unless they hold our numbered bidding card issued in their name. Unless otherwise specifically stated, all lots are sold without any warranties whatsoever either express or implied. Any description contained in the catalogue or any warranty which may be given is the sole responsibility of the seller and we shall incur no liability to any person in respect thereof. Although no form of warranty is given with any lot, the auctioneers will use their best endeavors to provide the history of any item. Test facilities will be made available during the hours of viewing and where engineer’s reports are available, these will be displayed.
The auction rooms will remain open for clearance of sold lots until 5.00pm on the day following the sale day. Purchased goods not collected by this time will incur transport and storage charges. Purchased lots are the responsibility of the buyer from the moment the hammer falls. The auctioneers shall be under no liability for subsequent loss or damage, howsoever caused. Unless indicated, all lots are subject to a 10% buyer’s commission and vat.
