As sponsors of the car registrations auction price guide and the car numbers book we have been buying number plates via auction for well over a decade. We have excellent knowledge of how they work and have acquired hundreds of numbers by way of auction for our own stock and many different clients.
Our number plate bidding service is a one stop shop, let us bid for you and provide the actual plates. We have saved our clients time and money over the years, you will not need to take unnecessary time off work to travel, book hotels then sit and wait for long hours for your chosen number plate. You have nothing to lose, if we bid for you we only charge a small booking fee of pound 20, then if we are successful we will only charge a fixed commission of pound 250.
Number plate auctions are now excellently managed by Premier Motor Auctions. In the past the DVLA have held two types of number plate auctions The Custom Marks Auction, mainly aimed at the lower priced year letter numbers and The Classic Collection, where more select and expensive car registrations are sold. Now all types of numbers seem to be sold in one auction held over three days. The auctions are held in various locations around the UK.
The company started selling registrations and number plates on a commission basis in 1997, now nearly 20 years on, we have a massive client database and hold a very much desired stock list.

The custom marks auction, mainly for lower priced year letter numbers and the Classic Collection, where more select and expensive number plates are sold.
