Our auction was launched 1993. As Directors and long-term classic motor car enthusiasts, they felt that the high commissions and other charges levied did not equate to the standard of service delivered. Using a combination of experience of the people, the motor cars and the market and upon their in-depth knowledge of the auction industry, both were convinced that they could provide a better all round service at a vastly reduced cost.
We still runs true today and they have been proven to be a major thorn in the Establishments side. We have offered some of the worlds best motor cars, achieving world record prices in the process, and they still offer to both buyers and sellers a standard of service that is unrivalled in the classic motor car auction market place - it is just coincidence that it also happens to be considerably cheaper.
Their Buxton Grade II listed venue of the Pavilion Gardens is now an established part of the our auction. Not only have we added London auctions to our repertoire at Synod Park, Kempton park racecourse and Olympia, we have also added other auctions. But dont think that they are only interested in motor cars as they have added Automobiles and Motorcycles to their never ending list of successes. As hands-on enthusiasts, we vigorously support the our motor car movement in all its forms including historic motor sport.
He also raced the 1956 Lotus XI in events all over Europe including the gentleman drivers historic sports motor car endurance events, the HGPCA Drum Brake Sports Motor Car Series and last year, to celebrate their tenth anniversary he took this historic motor car to the historic Ollon-Villars hillclimb in Switzerland.
As hands-on operators, we form a strong and complimentary team, which is able to monitor the market and take effective action when it is needed - auctioning our clients requirements without undue deliberation thus creating a dynamic that is wholly absent from their competition.
