We are a very long established firm of fine art and antique auctioneers. Located in the centre of Sheffield, south Yorkshire it is easily accessible from motorway. They hold a minimum of 28 auctions a year which involve fine art and antiques, Victoriana and collectables, die cast, tinplate and collectors toys, and house contents sales. Latest catalogue available on website. All Sheffield auctions commence at 11.00am No children under 14 years of age are allowed, in the saleroom on viewing or sale days. Viewing The sale will be on view the previous day, and limited viewing will be available the morning of the sale. Commission bids The auctioneers will execute commission bids received in writing up to one hour before commencement of the sale. Cheques Terms of sale strictly cash unless prior arrangements have been made with the auctioneers. Arrangements must be made before the sale otherwise no goods can be removed until cheques have been cleared. Collection of goods Purchasers are able to collect all small items after payment of the account at any time during the sale, providing this does not interfere with the progress of the sale. Furniture must not be removed until the sale has finished. All furniture must be removed by 2.30pm Tuesday following the sale otherwise storage charges will be incurred. Conditions of lots The auctioneers request intending purchasers to make certain of the condition of the lots which they wish to buy, to avoid disappointment later. Buyers premium Purchasers will be required to pay 15 percent commission in addition to the purchase price or hammer price as auctioneers commission. Refreshments Full refreshment facilities are available for all our auctions in the refreshment area on the ground floor of our saleroom complex. Value added tax Value added tax at the current rate is included in all commission and service charges.
