Our company has been growing steadily since our inception in 1983. Today our company is the largest auctioneers in Europe holding over 30 specialist and general sales per year.
We boast an eclectic and extraordinary range of sales over the years we have made our name as the place to buy and sell subjects as diverse as modern first editions, ultra moderns, old master prints, angling, mountaineering, polar exploration and travel. The sale of photographs, whether vintage or contemporary, has an active, young following and the new modern prints department completed its highly successful inaugural sale this summer.
This enabled the opening of new departments that attracted some of the most renowned specialists in their fields. Modern and contemporary prints, impressionist modern and contemporary art, chess, coins and medals and pens are all now gaining exciting consignments.
Our company sells single items as well as whole collections and libraries, nothing is too large, too small or too obscure our professional team boasts over 400 years experience in handling all manner of works we advise on collecting, probate, insurance, restoration and, of course, we undertake valuations all over the Uk, Europe and America. Our company is known for our fast and efficient service as well as helpful, enthusiastic and friendly staff on hand to advise and discuss. We believe that selling at auction is fun and often exhilarating, and we do everything we can to make an enjoyable experience.
