We are approved Auctioneers to the Wigan County Court, Wigan Borough Council and the Greater Manchester police.
We hold Auctions each week on Thursdays commencing at 10.15 am with viewing on Wednesdays from 10.00am to 4.00pm.
In addition to selling items from warrants etc, we sell goods from large hypermarket stores. These range from Designer Clothing, Televisions (ranging from portables to wide screen cinematographic), Projection Screens, Combination Videos, DVD Players, camcorders, watches, bunk and sofa beds, dyson cleaners, digital phones, washing machines and dryers, computers, laptops, garden furniture, household items and much more.: see the examples below:

Our Auction Rooms cover over 5000 square feet and goods brought in on warrants and liquidations are covered by insurance until sold.. To get your free first catalogue ring one of our numbers or e-mail us.

Viewing is generally on the day prior from 10.00am to 4.00pm and from 9.30 on the day.
Auctions are advertised in the auction column on the Manchester Evening News and Lancaster Evening Post on Fridays.
Auction Policies
Basic Conditions of Sale
Please note that a FULL "Conditions of Sale" can be viewed in the Auction Room. If you have any queries with regard to the "Conditions of Sale", please ask a member of Staff.
All goods are subject to VAT with the exception of zero rated items or where the donor is not VAT registered.
All lots must be paid for in full either on the day of sale or the following day after the initial cash deposit has been paid.
No items are to be removed unless supervised by a member of staff and not until 2.00pm on the day of sale. All electrical items must be fitted by a qualified tradesperson.
Items sold as "Tested - FWO" (Full Working Order) carry our 24hr guarantee. "24hr" means up to 5pm on the day after the sale. We will undertake to either repair it, replace it or refund the money - however this is at the discretion of company.
All items must be brought back complete with the 24hr guarantee sticker and Lot number labels still attached to the item. Any sign of the item having been tampered with will invalidate the warranty.
All other items are "Sold as Seen" ! A viewing day is held the day prior to the auction to enable bidders to satisfy yourselves as to what you are buying.
All lots not collected by 12.30pm on the day after the auction sale will be subject to a daily surcharge.
All our items are security marked - anyone caught stealing or purchasing goods from other auction houses and purporting to have bought them from us will be prosecuted.
If in doubt - do not bid.

We have been operating as Bailiffs for over 30 years, specializing in the recovery of Rent on Commercial Premises. We offer a comprehensive service from actual attendance to Distrain, Removal of Goods Seized and Sold at our own Auction Rooms.
The Laws for Landlords Distraint are very complicated and it is in the Landlords own interest that he uses a qualified Bailiff who is fully conversant with the ever changing laws.
Always remember if a Bailiff commits an illegal act either through intent or ignorance you as the Landlord are culpable.
All that is required by Law is that the Landlord complete a Distress Warrant and sends this direct to us, we will take it from there.
Make sure you are dealing with people who know what they are doing not people who just say they know.
On occasions where stage payments are made we account to our Clients immediately with interim payments, we do not hold onto monies until the warrant is paid in full.
If the warrant is paid in full on the Bailiffs visit our client is paid immediately the cheque is cleared. All monies are held in our Clients Account.
