Please note: weekly collective auctions of ceramics and glass, pictures, jewellery and silver, Victorian and later furniture are titled Victoriana sales. Lists of these sales are now available on the internet from the evening prior to the viewing day.
Our auction catalogues are now interactive, with the shopping basket my lots feature offering the facility to select and print out specific batches of lots. The catalogues are now fully searchable with a single click and images are updated daily.

We are not normally open at weekends, with the exception of occasional viewing days. As Glasgow’s only fine art auction house to hold regular specialist auctions of paintings, decorative arts antiquarian books, ceramics and fine antique furniture along with frequent collective auctions of objects of art, we offer a sales programmes suited to everyones needs, whether buying or selling at auction. Additionally, weekly auctions (every Friday) are held - auctions which always contain a wide-varied and large range of Victorian and later furniture, pictures, ceramics, silver, jewellery, collectors items and objects of art.
Our auction galleries are now situated at a brand new purpose built development adjacent to the m8, west of Glasgow city centre, with an unrivalled ease of access and welcoming facilities for clients. The new rooms boast unlimited adjacent parking. That, along with the auction house coffee shop and of course our team of expert, though down to earth, valuation and saleroom staff, make the weekly visit (usually on Tuesdays) a most enjoyable experience that most repeat. The general public, dealers and the merely curious, follow the path regularly to the meiklewood gate auction galleries to experience, once again, the excitement of the auction. The citizens of Glasgow have loved to collect objects d’art, from the days of the tobacco lords whose wealth allowed the amassing of fabulous collections to the tenement dweller with a parlour filled with heirlooms and artifacts.
