To vendors, who often send unidentified and unrehearsed items, we are provided with a free service that often rectifies this.
In addition to these public auctions, our company hold quarterly postal auctions of military badges, shoulder titles, collar badges, formation signs etc.

Buyers premium
Our buyers premium is 15percent on the hammer price vat is chargeable on the premium only, not on the hammer price i.e. The total cost of a lot which hammers for £50 is £58.81.
We have probably the largest military reference library held by any saleroom and offers a free research service for items once we have been consigned to auction. Your items with be carefully checked for variations and scarcity and where appropriate will be lotted individually commanding the highest price possibly for you suitable estimates will be placed on them for you in line with current market trends.
Our selling commission is 15percent (plus vat) on the hammer price. An insurance fee of only 50p per £100 (min £5 per sale) auction will cover your entire consignment from the moment it arrives to the fall of the hammer on sale day. Unlike many other rooms here are no hidden charges. We do not charge you a lotting fee, a photography fee, an unsold fee, a research fee nor is there a minimum fee per lot. Accounts are settled promptly 14 working days after a sale assuming purchasers accounts are cleared by that day. A complimentary catalogue is supplied to vendors.
