Scanstrut Stern Mount Kit Free Standing Cw Stainless Steel Struts |
| Scanstrut de luxe Stern Mount Kit for 300 and 600 developed in conjunction wih Scanstrut. The system comes in kit form and consists of a 2500mm high, 75mm (3-inch) diameter aluminium, white powder coated pole which accepts the spigot of the generator. The base has a universal ball and socket for easy mounting to any deck angle on the stern of the yacht. Two adjustable stainless steel bracing struts clamp to the pole at their upper ends and mount to the deck at their lower ends. These resist the thrust and inertial loads of the wind turbine. A stainless steel guardrail bracing strut is also included. The power cable from the generator connects inside the plug and socket in the pole and it exits at the base through the deck. It places the 300 blade tip 2.1m above deck height and the 600 blade tip 1.8m above deck height. (The system will also accept other marine wind generators: the 100 wind turbine and the Aquair 100 wind conversion module.). Weight: 12 Kg. |
