Pewter Plumed Helmet |
| Pewter plumed spike helmet. This helmet is in the style of an eigentums-helm, (also known as extra-helm or eigetumsst ck). These were pickelhauben that were privately purchased by an individual as property. An eigentums-helm could be purchased by any soldier dependant upon the wealth of the individual. They are of a much higher quality than a standard helmet and often utilize many features normally found on officers helmets. This particular helmet does not have the traditional spike at the top, instead it has a small plume. Each helmet is a scale replica of an original helmet in that style. It comes with a wooden stand finshed in a light teak varnish. The stand has has a metal rod in the middle which has a rubber half ball shape mounted on top. The helmet sits on the rubber mount which is sized to fit the helmet. Each pewter item comes packaged individually. Detailed dimensions: height 14cms. |
