Its is a synthetic rubber that neither contains latex,toxins, softeners/phthalates. TPE is a modern material and has been developed with the environment in mind in order to replace natural rubber in many products. The chemical compositions contain (H) hydrogen and (O) oxygen which makes TPE products decomposable. TPE can also be recycled or burned and is an eco-logically superior material to PVC. TPE is non toxic, does not cause any allergies. It is easy to recycle. TPE is synthetic, and natural rubber is natural why should I use a yoga mat that is not natural! TPE is synthetic rubber. It can easily be melted and reused. The process of making the TPE Mat is a careful process. Waste is recycled or reused immediately and the energy used is less than most other similar processes. The TPE is Oeko-Tex standard, which means it, is tested and does not cause any allergies. |
