The extra thick surface provides the core with total protection ensuring a long life span of the ball whilst maintaining a spherical shape at all times. The special outer surface is both smooth and grippy, perfect for juggling. The DX Chroma Plus balls all have UV activated pigments mixed in with the surface materials making them glow brightly under UV or blacklight, and giving them a strangely extra visible appearance at dusk as they pick up ambient UV light.
