A beautiful, large elephant procession statue depicting the days of the Raj in India when kings and queens would use elephants for formal processions. The entire statue is made up of two separate pieces. The elephant with the mahout on his back is one piece while the carriage on top of the elephant's back with the King and queen inside is another piece. The King and Queen sit under a palanquin to protect them from the sun. The mahout carries a large elephant goad in his right hand that is used to steer the elephant. Made of Bangladesh Bronze cast in the Lost Wax method. Sculpture weighs 40 pounds. Dimensions: 19"H
