This lamp and many other new additions to our lighting collection are handmade in the Phillipines. Filipino crafts emphasize the use of renewable resources found in nature, such as woven grasses, shells, rattan, bamboo, jute, and other exotic woods, all indigenous to their island state. These products owe their unusual look to a combination of this traditional ages-old approach with the creativity of our Filipino artisans, who are drawing their inspiration both from nature and modern art.
