Our company was founded by David Schaefer in 1996. Our first car top carrier was designed and built in 1995. After much testing and user feed back we built or first batch and went to work. Since then we have designed over a dozen car top carriers and sold thousands. In 2000 we were granted a patent on our Classic model. This was the first step in forming a partnership with a large US backpack distributor. Our carriers can be found in hundreds of stores under the name Pack Right.
Our strength comes from all the feedback we get from our customers and the feedback we get from those that buy carriers from our competitors. We take this information and develop new and innovative ways to carry gear on just about any vehicle. Unlike lour competitors that simply make a square bag with a zipper, we use and extensively test our carriers and we buy and test our competitors products as well. We doubt any other company knows car top carriers like we do.
